Designed originally for the opera performance Orpheus and Eurydice, the venomous serpect device became part of a larger study into soft robotic architectural systems and enclosures. 

Following the aspirations of counterculture and agitprop design groups of the 60's, new technologies of inflated and compliant mechanisms may produce wholly new compositions.
